The Full Moon

Last night there was a full moon. How beautiful it looked. It was big, radiant and shone in the night sky. As the sky was clear it stood out on the canvass of the sky. The bluey whiteness of the moon always amazes me. Its not quite like other forms of light. I wonder how many actually stopped and looked up to view it? Did you?

Want a coke?

The secret is out, or is it? Apparently we now know the secret formula for the ever popular coke. Could those copied scraps of paper really spell doom for coke? I think not. There will always be something magical in opening that bottle and hearing that szzz sound. I remember as a kid I used to love Fridays as that was coke day. The sweet taste and fizz in the nose always made me laugh. It's a shame since then poor diet and lack of exercise has caused obesity pandemics. Coke gets the blame, but should it? Now with the leaked recipe maybe we can punish coke once and for all? Or maybe we should look at our own choices and remember what coke originally brought us- family and friend time, fun refreshment and fizz in the nose... Live on coke I say.

Let My People Go Oh Pharaoh

The last few weeks we have seen the power of social media used to its full extent in Egypt. Fed up with false promises from the former Government, the youth rose up and gathered the masses at Tahrir Square. With sheer resilience they were able to force peacefully the beginning of change....
My hats off to the patience and enduring spirit of the people. With the Pharaoh now fallen, lets hope the future structure delivers on prosperity and peace....
